Garbage pickup is every Thursday, contracted out to Loraas Disposal. Garbage carts are supplied by the Town through Loraas. Please keep track of the serial number of your cart in case of loss or damage. You shall be charged for your cart if it is lost or stolen or damaged other than by normal wear and tear.
Recycle bins are situated at the Fire Hall on the west side of town and south of the recreation centre. Cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and tin are accepted. Please note that Loraas ceased to accept glass approximately 4 years ago. They should have all the bins relabeled, removing the ‘Glass’ labels
to indicate this. The cost to empty each bin is $136.00. Please help
reduce costs by collapsing any cardboard boxes.
